A Mix of Bridal Shower Games My little sister got married a few years ago and I had the joy of planning out her bridal shower games. We did these bridal shower minute to win it games and a couple of quieter printable ones like this love story game! I still can’t believe it’s been over two years since her bohemian bridal shower! And I of course got her these date night cards as her gift just in case her brain doesn’t work anymore once she’s working full-time and in school!...

One of my family’s all-time favorite rides at Walt Disney World is the Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. So for my son’s Walt Disney World themed birthday party a few weeks ago, I had to find a way to incorporate a safari into the party. When I asked my son what he wanted to do for Animal Kingdom, his response was – have animals! He wanted me to either get a petting zoo or rent a couple of animals, like the snakes and mole rats you see on the Gorilla Falls trail in Animal Kingdom....

With Valentine’s Day coming up soon, my mind is on all things chocolate. Chocolate brownie balls, chocolate stuffed Rolo cookies, and even the healthier chocolate protein balls. My boys are a bit obsessed with would you rather questions. From Star Wars would you rather questions to seasonal ones like Christmas would you rather, we’ve done a lot of them. I’ve pretty much started dreaming in would you rather scenarios at this point. Fall is by far my favorite season, I mean really it’s the best season. The weather is perfect (hello cozy sweaters), the color of the leaves is beautiful, candy apples abound, and my birthday is in the fall. And it’s the perfect time to host one of these fall parties. One of my all-time favorite party games is name that tune. Maybe it’s because I love music, maybe it’s because it’s something my family played all growing up (along with Christmas bingo), or maybe it’s just because it’s just plain fun. The way we always played name that tune was playing songs and then whoever guessed the song first won a point for their team. It’s so fun but can be a bit tricky for people who don’t necessarily know song names, artists, or just can’t yell things out that fast....

This summer we’ve been trying out a number of new local breakfast places and this past week I tried out the brand new breakfast menu at our local Hy-Vee with my brothers! It was a great way to start my day – good food and good company!
