I love a lot of things about camping but not necessarily the bugs. So instead of actually going camping these days, I really like to host camping themed parties and sharing camping party ideas! These campfire cupcakes are an adorable addition to any camp party dessert table or would make a great dessert for an actual campout (as long as it’s cooler so the frosting won’t melt!). Why We Switched to DISH Network A couple of months ago my family switched over to DISH Network, mainly for the ability to watch our shows when we travel with the DISH Anywhere app. We travel a lot and have been using DISH Anywhere on all of those trips. I had heard good things about DISH before switching over from our previous network, but I had no idea how awesome it really was....

We did this Halloween treasure hunt one year when we couldn’t get together with my family in person for Halloween. And it it was so fun, it became a new Halloween tradition! You can either do this on Halloween or any other day that your group all agrees on. Add it to some other fun Halloween games or do it in lieu of any of these other Halloween party ideas....

Christmas parties are all about the food (and Christmas party games) and I love to serve finger foods so people can grab and snack while they’re mingling or playing. My oldest doesn’t like chocolate. I don’t get it – I mean how can anyone not like these chocolate chip pudding cookies? Or striped delight. Or just chocolate period. It’s one of the most watched shows on TV, and I’ve meant to get around to creating my own version of the game before but just never had the chance. This year is the year! This Christmas Jeopardy game is played just like the actual game show except no real money is involved....

Now that I have a baby, I’ve started trying to think of ways to teach him what gratitude is and how he can show gratitude. And while thinking through this, I’ve come up with three keys to teach children gratitude based on what my parents taught me. I love a good dessert salad, you know the ones – the ones that probably shouldn’t actually be called a salad at all. This berry cheesecake fluff is one of those. It’s a bunch of delicious things mixed all together into one creamy, fluffy, dessert salad. Similar to my strawberry fluff salad, this one is great to serve as a side dish, as a stand alone dessert, or even as a topping for something like strawberry shortcake....

We’ve made it! This is the final cookie recipe I’m going to share this year, and I’ve saved the best for last. Or something like that. Pretty sure these chewy molasses cookies and these orange sugar cookies were also my favorite. I kind of like just cookies apparently. I grew up in a family that loved Snickers Bars. I don’t even remember when it started by they’ve always been a favorite of my mom’s and my older brothers, so I’ve had a lot of Snickers in my life....
