Is there anything better than an ice cold glass of something refreshing on a summer day? This raspberry punch is the perfect combination of tart and sweet – making it the ultimate summer punch! It’s almost like the summer version of my super popular holiday punch! Families will love this non-alcoholic punch because it’s so easy to make, only takes a few ingredients, and can be made in a slightly tart (for the adults) or slightly sweet version (for the kids). Serve it up alongside this beach themed cake for the perfect summer party spread!

Simple Syrup – if you like a sweeter punch, you can add a bit of simple syrup for some sweetness. To make simple syrup, simply combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a pot on the stovetop over medium heat then heat until the sugar is totally dissolved. Raspberries – there are no actual raspberries in the recipe, but I always like to garnish with fresh raspberries Limes – there are no actual lime in the recipe, but again, I like to garnish with fresh lime wedges. You could also use the lime peel to make a lime sugar rim on the glasses like I did with this strawberry mocktail for an elevated drinking experience Raspberry lime seltzer – I used Polar in this recipe but any raspberry lime flavored seltzer should workRaspberry sorbet – don’t substitute sorbet for raspberry sherbet, they’re totally different things. The sorbet helps keep this drink tart while sherbet is better used in something like this Christmas punch

Instructions

One of the thing that I love about this summer punch is how easy is it to make. You literally can have it made in minutes! Add juice, seltzer, and limeade into a large pitcher. If you’re planning to add in the simple syrup, do that now and stir to mix the juice and syrup. Add scoops of sorbet to the top of the punch and stir gently. Pour the summer punch over ice in individual glasses and serve garnished with fresh raspberries and limes.

Expert Tips

Pour the punch over ice in individual glasses rather than adding ice to the pitcher itself to avoid watering down the punch. Make the punch right before serving. If you make it beforehand, the sorbet will melt and you’ll end up with something totally different than you were hoping. Add 1/4 cup of simple syrup for a sweeter punch as this one is slightly tart as written. If you’re making this for kids, I recommend the simple syrup. Don’t stir too much when you add the sorbet. The chunks of sorbet add a nice flavor to the punch.
